Cathryn Beeks

Ramona-based singer-songwriter Cathryn Beeks is a force of creativity and musical talent. Born and raised on a mini farm in Norco/Mira Loma, her rural roots are audible in her love of folk and country music. She’s played in bands all her life, including The Prairie Dudes, 8Ball Rack, The Ordeal, and over a decade with her current project the all-female acoustic ensemble Calamity. She also performs with the award-winning Jeff Berkley & The Banned.

Beyond her musical career, which spans multiple bands and genres from classic rock to folk, Beeks has established herself as a versatile artist and entrepreneur. She hosts a popular monthly podcast called The Listen Local Show, offers photography, curates vintage clothing, organizes local music events, produces music videos, and hosts retreats. Her fearless attitude has propelled her through traveling the country in a motorhome, various artistic ventures, and community-building efforts.
